Our mission

Balanced, intentional device use

We help organisations and individuals use smartphones, tablets, and computers in a balanced, intentional way — through research-backed training, insights, and tools.

What we make

Training & Tools

We make transformative digital focus skills accessible to everyone. We provide proven behaviour-change steps and open-source focus tools that make it easy to structure digital life to fit everyone's personal goals and ecosystem of devices.

What we share

Research & Policy

We make insights from our work available to inform technology design and government policy, so digital products are built with human wellbeing in mind. We provide a real-time, evidence base on digital challenges & solutions.

Why we exist

Mission-Driven & Not-For-Profit

We exist to accelerate a transition to a healthier digital future for all. We are a not-for-profit organisation working closely with our partners in higher education, research, and policy.

A virtuous cycle

Through our practical work, we get a detailed understanding of the digital challenges people face in daily life and how to solve them through design. We use that evidence base to support researchers and policy makers — so we can make our digital world safer and healthier by default.
